The storyline revolved around Deadpool (DP), who joined forces with Cable and the X-Men to thwart Mister Sinister’s latest evil plot.

The 2015 re-release of the game, which mirrored Tim Miller’s 2016 movie and included extra downloadable content, is becoming more challenging to obtain because the PS4 and Xbox One versions are no longer available for digital purchase. This is due to licensing problems that led to its delisting in 2017.

Online, it’s been observed that both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Deadpool are being sold for unusually high prices. Metro has found two listings for the PS4 version priced at an astounding £38,374 and £38,500. For those who can’t afford such a hefty sum, a simple search reveals copies going for approximately £35.

Although it’s unlikely anyone will spend around £30k on Deadpool merchandise, BBC news mentions an old, unopened copy was sold for £330 recently. Moreover, the site claims that other copies have fetched prices as high as £116 – a significant increase from its original price of just £9 when Deadpool 2 was released in 2018.

The predicament surrounding Deadpool serves as a regrettable reflection on the current state of the industry, prompting numerous individuals to express sorrow over the decline of physical games and the perception that we don’t truly own our digital purchases. However, if you possess a copy of the 2015 re-release, it could be advantageous to put it up for sale at this moment.
