Jason Momoa Has A Hilarious Chat Going With SNL's Ego Nwodim About Their Dating Life: 'Who You Wit?'

As a die-hard fan of Saturday Night Live, I must admit that the perks of being a cast member are more numerous than one might initially think. Case in point: Ego Nwodim’s unique friendship with Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa!

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share an intriguing aspect of being a cast member on Saturday Night Live that might surprise you: the possibility of encountering celebrities who could lend a hand in your personal life, especially romantic endeavors. While it’s not something that happens routinely, it’s fascinating to know that Ego Nwodim currently has such an opportunity with Jason Momoa, the charismatic star of Aquaman.

Recently, Nwodim appeared as a guest on “Watch What Happens: Live,” where host Andy Cohen grilled her with quick-fire tales from her encounters with different actors and celebrities who hosted “Saturday Night Live” during her stint on the comedy show. Besides discussing Josh Brolin, Kristen Wiig, and Bad Bunny among others, the comedienne shared insights about her interactions with Jason Momoa. She revealed that they’ve kept up a chat filled with date-related texts.

Jason Momoa: He’s trying to arrange a date for me, or perhaps I’ve asked him to do so. And he says something like ‘I don’t know any men who are up to the task.’ So, we have this game where I text him and ask, ‘Who are you with?’ followed by him sending me a picture of the person he’s with at that moment. And indeed, he does! Just a few weeks ago, I asked him ‘Who are you with?’, and he sent me a photo of a stranger in an airport.

It’s surprising how this text conversation has yielded unforeseen outcomes for rising star Ego Nwodim. We might assume that A-list celebrities such as herself are often socializing with other attractive individuals, and perhaps that was one reason she reached out to Jason Momoa for a date setup. However, it seems that he’s more of an ordinary individual, as evidenced by his interactions with strangers in public places like an airport.

You can watch Ego Nwodim play “Show & SN-Tell” with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens: Live below:

As a gaming enthusiast (and secretly a Saturday Night Live fan), I’ve been part of the SNL family since 2018, joining as a featured player in the first place. If you remember well, Jason Momoa made his debut as a host in the eighth episode of Season 44, back in 2018, with Mumford and Sons providing the music. Fast forward to late 2020, I was promoted to become part of the main cast, but it took a couple of years for Momoa to return. And guess what? He graced our screens once again during Season 49, hosting the fifth episode with musical guest Tate McRae!

The start date for the upcoming season 50 of Saturday Night Live, also known as SNL, is scheduled for September 28. However, they haven’t announced who will be hosting yet. If you can’t wait that long to watch the series, you can stream almost every episode with a Peacock subscription instead.
