As a seasoned analyst with years of experience in the crypto and gaming industry, I find the Sprint challenge by STEPN quite intriguing. Having witnessed the evolution of move-to-earn games, it’s fascinating to see how they are integrating real-world physical activity with digital rewards.
In simple terms, StepN, a unique crypto game that rewards you for moving, has revealed information about its upcoming second event. During this event, dubbed the ‘Sprint Challenge’, players will be tasked to participate from August 2nd to August 5th.
How Players Can Participate In Sprint Challenge?
Individuals keen on participating in this contest are welcome to jump right into the 2nd event, whether you’re using STEPN or STEPN GO. Furthermore, feel free to take part in any of the events with a shoe selection ranging from Walker, Jogger, Runner, and Trainer.
However, beginners will need the activation code to join the platform.
What Is The Task In the 2nd Challenge?
In a manner similar to the Olympics, competitors will strive for three tiers of awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Their performance, specifically the distance they travel, will determine which medal they might win.
- Gold Medal: Run more than 1.5km
- Silver Medal: Run more than 1km
- Bronze Medal: Just finish the run!
1) The event wraps up on August 5th at 9 AM (UTC time). Once we evaluate the players’ performances, a single winner from each category will be chosen to receive various rewards at random.
- Gold: 1 Rare STEPN Shoebox
- Silver: 1 Uncommon STEPN Shoebox
- Bronze: 1 Common STEPN Shoebox
Rules to Participate In Sprint Challenge
There are some rules that one should not unsee before joining the league.
- Players can participate in all categories, but they can win in only one category and rewarded based on it.
- Players will have to post a screenshot of their run using #STEPNGames.
- Players will have to complete this task in 1 Energy. If they exceed this limit, they won’t be eligible to win a prize.
