Unfortunately, it’s not the abstract concept we’re talking about but the series itself, which was initially broadcast on CBS and later moved to Paramount+. The story revolves around psychologist Kristen Bouchard (played by Katja Herbers), a priest in training named David Acosta (portrayed by Mike Coulter), and contractor Ben Shakir (depicted by Aasif Mandvi). Together, they explore supernatural occurrences, seeking rational explanations or means to overcome the mysteries that keep them awake at night.
With the final season now here, even though creators Robert and Michelle King initially intended to extend the life of “Evil”, it’s likely that viewers are on the hunt for another lighthearted supernatural drama to keep them engaged. While it shares similarities with the legendary The X-Files, it also resonates strongly with the gripping narrative of Evil. Both shows revolve around a dynamic trio, banding together to tackle otherworldly enigmas, making it an absolute must-watch for fans who can’t get enough of the chilling encounters that Evil offers.

Friday The 13th: The Series (1987-1990)
Following the demise of their mysterious uncle, a woman named Louise Robey (in this case), her cousin John D. LeMay, and a specialist in the arcane, Chris Wiggins, find themselves in charge of an antique shop filled with cursed artifacts. Their mission: to locate the missing items and prevent them from causing any further harm.
For enthusiasts of the show “Evil,” Friday the 13th: The Series is an excellent choice to watch. Contrary to its namesake, this Emmy-nominated series is unrelated to the events at Crystal Lake or the bloodthirsty deeds of Jason Voorhees. Instead, it aligns well with “Evil” as another engaging tale about a trio of individuals who dedicate themselves to investigating and combating supernatural entities.
