Come Along With Fitness Enthusiast Jessica Tran and Motocross Racer JR Reyes for the Propel Your City Fitness Tour in Houston

As a seasoned gamer and fitness enthusiast, I must say that the Propel Your City Project has managed to successfully blend two of my passions – gaming and physical activity. My life’s journey has taken me on an incredible rollercoaster ride, from navigating the virtual worlds of video games to conquering real-life challenges in marathons and fitness classes.

As a gaming enthusiast hopping into the world of fitness challenges, I’ve found myself participating in The Propel Your City Project – an exciting initiative offering complimentary workout sessions and organized jogs across various cities like Atlanta, Los Angeles, Newark, and my very own Houston! Recently, I had the pleasure of joining the action during the Texas tour, attending some energizing classes held at our vibrant Houston hub. It’s not just about gaming anymore; it’s about leveling up my health too!

As a passionate ICU nurse and fitness enthusiast focusing on holistic wellness, Jessica Tran, invites me to join her for a yoga session as she launches the initial weekend of the Propel Your City Project in her beloved hometown. This event, co-hosted by Natasha Ponciano along with the BLK Beetles, leads participants through mindfulness exercises and basic yoga poses. Post-yoga, attendees can unwind and rejuvenate with their preferred Propel workout water flavors such as Kiwi Strawberry, Berry, or Grape. Jessica expresses her deep affection for fitness, stating, “It’s all about the incredible community that it fosters.”

On the next day, community involvement persisted as Latinas Run, a local group, orchestrated a run. JR Reyes, an accomplished motocross racer, artist, and avid runner, participated in a 3-mile run. This was followed by a yoga session led by an instructor, focusing on stretches to aid muscle recovery after the run. Participants were rewarded with tote bags filled with Propel merchandise, including beverage tablets and electrolyte hydration powder.
