Michael Jackson’s Nephew Jaafar Jackson Signs With CAA

As a seasoned gamer with a heart for music and a keen eye for cinematic excellence, I can hardly contain my excitement over Jaafar Jackson’s upcoming role as his late uncle, Michael Jackson, in the highly-anticipated biopic, “Michael.”

Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew who is set to play the pop icon in an upcoming biographical movie about the singer’s life, has recently joined forces with CAA for professional representation.

Jackson, son of Jermaine Jackson and nephew of the legendary Michael Jackson, is set to embark on his acting career by portraying his late uncle in the movie titled “Michael“. Antoine Fuqua will be directing this film, while Graham King, renowned for his work on the Oscar-winning biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody“, will produce for GK Films.

Jaafar Jackson, a newcomer to the music scene, put out his first single titled “Got Me Singing” back in 2019. His passion for music had been growing since he was just 12 years old when he began playing the piano and belting out tunes with dreams of one day making it big in the industry.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be part of the global audience witnessing “Michael” on April 18, 2025, a production overseen by John Branca and John McClain, the co-executors of the Michael Jackson estate. In the United States and Japan, Lionsgate will bring this film to life, while Universal Pictures holds the rights for distribution in other regions around the world.

The studio has confirmed that the biopic, titled ‘Michael,’ will delve into every facet of Michael Jackson’s life. This likely includes the child molestation accusations he faced, as these are significant aspects of his story. Notably, Michael passed away in 2009. John Logan, known for writing ‘Gladiator’ and ‘The Aviator,’ has written the script for this film.

Apart from his successful music and acting ventures, Jackson is also known for supporting organizations that aim to eradicate human trafficking and global hunger. To this day, he remains under the representation of David Weber and Robert Offer, who work at Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
