As a dedicated fan who has traversed the globe through Anthony Bourdain‘s culinary journeys, I can hardly contain my excitement! Dominic Sessa, who captivated us all in “The Holdovers,” is stepping into the shoes of this iconic figure. With Matt Johnson at the helm, known for his brilliant work on “Blackberry,” and a script penned by Todd Bartels and Lou Howe, this film promises to be a tantalizing feast for our eyes and hearts.

Anthony Bourdain‘s life is getting the big screen treatment.

As Dominic Sessa, who made a splash last year in Alexander Payne’s “The Holdovers”, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be taking on the role of a beloved food world icon for an upcoming film from A24 Studios based in New York and Star Thrower Entertainment, the team behind “King Richard”. Can’t wait to get started!

Matt Johnson, creator of the popular Blackberry feature, will be taking on the director’s role for a screenplay penned by both Todd Bartels and Lou Howe.

A24 is in negotiations for a joint production with Trevor White, Tim White under the banner of Star Thrower. Johnson and Matthew Miller are also set to produce, while Emily Rose serves as executive producer. Following the completion of their latest project ‘Eternity’, starring Miles Teller and Elizabeth Olsen, A24 and Star Thrower are now in discussions for a new production.

As a dedicated fan, I’m associated with the talent agencies CAA, Untitled, and Hansen Jacobson, much like Sessa. Meanwhile, Johnson shares representation with CAA and Akin Gump, similar to my situation as well. Lastly, Miller, in a parallel fashion, is also represented by both CAA and Akin Gump.

More to come.
