He went on to say, “I wouldn’t be worried if I had to display my phone to my partner,” and emphasized, “I have nothing to hide.”

In a chat with News18, Akshay Kumar shared his thoughts on what he’d do if wife Twinkle Khanna read his private messages. He admitted he wouldn’t worry about showing her his phone because he often leaves it with staff or at home while charging. He stressed his openness, stating that he has nothing to conceal.

Apart from joking, Akshay Kumar proposed an idea where this could transform into a fascinating challenge. He pointed out that such a game might be more captivating than traditional outdoor activities since it demands mental exertion and maintains one’s attention. He emphasized that the uncertainty of how to proceed when private messages are read by loved ones creates an additional level of thrill.

In a recent exclusive interview with TopMob, Akshay Kumar expressed his desire for the comedy genre to be taken more seriously. He said, “Comedy ko log itna halka kyun lete hain hamari industry mein?…Maine aaj tak nahin dekha hai ki the best film award goes to a comedy film (Why is comedy treated lightly in our industry? Till today, I have never seen that the Best Film award goes to a comedy film).”

Akshay Kumar added a thought that comedians have never won the Best Hero award, finding it puzzling. To back up his point, he cited well-known comedians such as Charlie Chaplin, Jim Carrey, Jackie Chan, and Barry Hill. When times are tough, he seeks solace in Charlie Chaplin’s films or the TV show FRIENDS due to their soothing influence. He expressed optimism that the industry might soon start acknowledging and valuing comedy more fairly.

In terms of his professional endeavors, Akshay Kumar made an appearance in the movie Sarfira, helmed by Sudha Kongara and featuring Radhikka Madan as co-star, which had its debut on August 2. Coming up next for him is Khel Khel Mein, a film directed by Mudassar Aziz with a release date set for August 15, aligning with Independence Day celebrations. The movie, a remake of the 2016 Italian film Perfect Strangers, boasts an ensemble cast including Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal. The trailer for Khel Khel Mein was also launched on August 2. At the box office, Akshay’s film will go head-to-head with Stree 2 and Vedaa.

Apart from his current work, he’s got a number of upcoming productions lined up. These include “Welcome To The Jungle,” which is the third installment in the Welcome series, along with “Skyforce,” “Singham Again,” “Hera Pheri 3,” and “Jolly LLB 3.”
