In an open chat with TopMob, actress Lily Collins shared exciting details about the upcoming fourth season of Emily in Paris on Netflix, premiering on August 15th. During this honest discussion, Collins spoke about finding similarities between herself and her character, Emily Cooper, whom she’s portrayed for four years.

“Indeed, she seems to share similar traits with Emily, the stylish and upbeat character, as both are characterized by their trust, optimism, and problem-solving abilities. However, this season, Emily will encounter a significant challenge in her romantic affairs.”

With excitement, we can’t wait to see what unfolds, particularly the developing relationships among Sylvie, Alife (Lucien Laviscount), and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). The trailer hinted at a significant plot development concerning Sylvie and Camille (Camille Razat), who is expecting a baby with Gabriel. This promises more obstacles in Emily’s already challenging life.

Without a doubt, Mindy Chen, played by Ashley Park, brings a delightful, lively, and emotionally touching camaraderie to the series that enriches its texture.

Despite not knowing what the new season may bring for the characters, the actress, Collins, has already stated that it is her all-time favorite! When asked about her favorite season, the actress confidently replied that it was season 4 without any hesitation. “I’ll definitely say this season,” she told TopMob.

“Going to Rome, venturing into the mountains, required a different wardrobe due to winter’s chill. It seems our characters have become more rooted in their individual identities and understand one another better, which has made collaboration smoother. This familiarity allows us to embark on more exciting journeys as these characters.” Or alternatively, “With winter calling for a different wardrobe, we found ourselves in Rome and the mountains. Our characters have grown more grounded and know each other exceptionally well, making teamwork effortless. This closeness enables us to explore further adventures together as these characters.”

In simple terms, the fourth season of Emily in Paris will be split into two segments. The initial five episodes are set to debut on Netflix on August 15th. The remaining episodes from the season will follow, appearing on Netflix again starting from September 12th.
