The car, initially given to Walter Scheuermann in Germany during December 1993, remained in a prestigious Japanese collection for almost two decades before moving to the United States in 2013. Now, it’s been prepared for use on American roads following a $40,000 investment by its current owner at Retrosport, San Rafael, California. This work involved installing a fresh FIA-approved fuel cell, shocks, road tires, and sport exhaust, as well as tweaking the ride height slightly.
