For the past year, Dominik Mysterio has found himself at the heart of one of the WWE’s most chaotic love triangles. What started with Rhea Ripley’s injury escalated into a major crisis for Judgment Day’s key Superstar, as his clandestine relationship with Liv Morgan was exposed. As this drama unfolds week by week, viewers might recall that “Dirty Dom” is a married man in real life, causing some to ponder how his wife Marie Juliette feels about these romantic storylines. Luckily, we no longer have to speculate as Mysterio has disclosed her response to the situation.
On his podcast “Impaulsive,” Logan Paul had an engaging conversation with Dominik Mysterio, discussing topics ranging from crowd boos to his married life and frequent kisses with Liv Morgan, as well as the unusual incident of being licked by Rhea Ripley weekly. Historically, professional wrestlers have faced challenges in managing their real-life relationships amidst scripted romances; however, Mysterio emphasized that this isn’t an issue for him and his wife. In his own words:
In my television appearances, there was an instance last week that reminded me – it was when Rhea [Ripley] gave me an unexpected kiss on the face. The first message I received from her was about a tarantula in their garage, unrelated to the segment. She recognizes the distinction between my TV character, ‘Dirty Dom,’ and my role as her husband, Dominik. She manages to keep work and personal life separate quite effectively.
The wrestler mentioned that his wife remained unconcerned when Ripley licked his face, which likely stems from the strong trust they share in their relationship. Unlike Mysterio, who endured jeers at his wedding to Marie Juliette, he’s been with her since they were 14 years old. Now, at 27, Mysterio anticipates a promising future as his involvement in upcoming WWE events continues to expand.

His wife doesn’t mind the romantic aspects of Dominik Mysterio’s character, and these elements are helping to establish him as a standout wrestler outside his father Rey Mysterio’s influential legacy. Initially, the WWE attempted to make Dominik the new Rey Mysterio, but that didn’t pan out. Now, with the past family feud behind them, we’re witnessing Dominik grow into a wrestler leading the most captivating faction rivalry in professional wrestling.
Dominik Mysterio appears to be having his first significant wrestling rivalry, and given his age in his late 20s, this conflict could propel him towards greater accomplishments in the WWE. Time will tell if by this time next year, he’ll be among the top titleholders. I certainly hope so! However, he needs to put more effort into his wrestling skills as he hasn’t been winning many matches recently.
