As a dedicated follower and admirer of the Indian film industry, I find myself captivated by Sharvari Wagh’s journey, a young actress who has shown remarkable resilience and determination. Her story is a testament to the saying “Persistence pays off,” as she auditioned for numerous films under YRF, even when success eluded her at first.

Currently, I’m basking in the limelight following the release of Vedaa, a film where I’ve had the privilege of acting alongside stars like John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee. Known for my role in Munjya, I’m steadily making my mark in the film industry and continually refining my skills. As I gear up for my next project, Alpha, a production by YRF, it’s intriguing to reflect on my journey that began with auditions for Sui Dhaga and Thugs Of Hindostan.

In a captivating conversation with Shubhankar Mishra on his podcast, I shared insights about my journey with Yash Raj Films (YRF). Reflecting on the past, I recounted numerous movie auditions where I faced rejection. However, fate had other plans for me.

After that particular day, I tried out for nearly every film produced by YRF, yet I failed to secure a role in any of them. Notably, I also auditioned for the films Sui Dhaaga and Thugs of Hindostan, starring Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Sharvari Wagh explained that during auditions, the creators tend to keep the project’s name hidden. But in the case of Sui Dhaaga, she had already become aware of it. Additionally, she speculated that Aditya Chopra may have recognized her progress, abilities, and commitment, leading him to include her in his upcoming spy film Alpha, which will also feature Alia Bhatt.

Elaborating on her shooting experience with Alia Bhatt on the sets of Alpha, the Maharaj actor said, “Shoot toh start hua hai (filming has started). Every day is a dream come true. To see Alia Bhatt perform in front of the camera is a masterclass in acting. It’s incredible.” 

For those not familiar, the film “Sui Dhaaga” features Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in prominent roles. It received favorable responses from audiences. On the other hand, “Thugs of Hindostan,” featuring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, was a disappointing box office performance.

In terms of her career, Sharvari is currently focusing on the production of the film Alpha, where she makes her debut in the well-known spy genre. The movie showcases Sharvari performing thrilling action scenes. It’s said that Bobby Deol will portray the primary villain in this film. Interestingly, Alpha is YRF’s inaugural female spy movie, currently being filmed under the guidance of Shiv Rawail. Additionally, Sharvari is involved with the popular horror comedy universe as well.
