In her declaration, Lady Gaga mentioned that the track is intended for fans as they anticipate the arrival of her upcoming album, “LG7,” which currently lacks a confirmed release date.
As a devoted fan, I’ve been eagerly anticipating fresh tunes from my favorite stars, and it seems like my wait is finally over! Lady Gaga graced us with a collaborative album with the legendary Tony Bennett back in 2021, followed by her powerful track “Hold My Hand” for Top Gun: Maverick in 2022. Yet, her last significant solo effort was Chromatica in 2020. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars has been on a hiatus since his major solo release in 2016. However, his collaboration with Anderson .Paak for Silk Sonic earned him two Grammys in 2022. So, here’s to hoping these musical powerhouses continue to bless us with their talents and “Die With a Smile” becomes another timeless hit!
“Bruno and I hold each other in high regard and have been discussing potential collaboration,” Gaga stated in a press statement. “While I was wrapping up my own project in Malibu, Bruno invited me to his studio one evening to listen to something he was developing. It was past midnight when I arrived, and I was astounded by the progress he’d made on the song. We ended up working through the night, completing the writing and recording process together. Bruno’s talent is indescribable. His musical ability and vision are exceptional – there’s simply no one else quite like him.”
Mars stated, “Working with Gaga is a privilege. She’s a legend who brings magic to this track. I can’t wait for everyone to listen to it.”
