In an idle mobile game, progress can be made over time even without top-tier heroes; but for achieving real success within the game, it’s essential to assemble a solid team with excellent synergy among your heroes.
Consequently, we’ve developed a comprehensive tier list for 7DS Idle that provides in-depth information about each hero. This way, you can easily identify which characters are worthy of your focus and investment, and which ones may not be as beneficial.
How to pick the best heroes in 7DS Idle in the early game
Early on, you will want to focus on some good Unique heroes. Those can be upgraded consistently, and you can have at least a 2* or higher early on in the game. The Legendary heroes are the best, but they are hard to come across.
As a seasoned player, I strongly advise focusing your initial gameplay strategies around Diane, the free Giant Girl, as well as The Six Knights of Black, specifically Pump and Atra. If you haven’t acquired them yet, don’t fret; they will become available to you in due time. Trust me, these characters have proven to be indispensable in my own gaming journey, and I believe they will serve you well too.
Absolutely, should you acquire either the “Fox’s Sin of Greed Ban” or “Dragon’s Sin of Wrath Meliodas”, these characters should be at the top of your priorities.

Fox Sin of Greed Ban
Ban is a powerful DPS – the best one in the game at the moment. His special skill can inflict additional damage and restore Energy, while his Ultimate is absolutely amazing. With Vanishing Kill, he can inflict Snatch on the target, which decreases their ATK and increases his own.
The character in question is Elliatte, a remarkable Support figure from Sky Temple. She stands out due to her exceptional abilities. Her unique skill, Anger Light, has the power to strip away any buffs on an enemy target. Furthermore, her Ultimate ability is an area-of-effect (AoE) skill, enhancing the Critical Chance for all allies possessing a Strength attribute.
In simpler terms, the new character you’re referring to, King Arthur, is another strong Support character, much like Elliatte. However, instead of boosting INT allies’ Crit Chance passively, he does it through his Special Skill. Moreover, when it comes to his Ultimate ability, he weakens the defense of opponents, making them easier targets for attacks. This trait makes him particularly effective against bosses.

Giant Girl Diane
Giant Girl Diane is a hero you will unlock very early on in the game, and she is a reliable Tank. She is immune to negative effects, and she can also restore her own HP. With her Ultimate, she will apply Petrify on the enemies.
The character Diamond Holy Knight Howzer is a DPS hero who specializes in reducing the Critical Resistance of enemies. His unique ability to boost his Critical Chance with his Special Skill makes him an excellent match for New King Arthur. Their combination works well because he is an Intelligence-based DPS hero, complementing King Arthur’s skills effectively.
“Boost” or “Enhance” Zeratras’ Attack Speed: Zeratras accelerates his own attack speed, and when he defeats an opponent, he regains Energy. When combined with supportive characters, he becomes a strong Damage Per Second (DPS) hero – especially if you prefer one with the Vitality trait.

[Boar Hat] Tavern Master Meliodas
Even though the Tavern Master Meliodas is the first hero you get, he is not really a very good end-game carry. The Meliodas you should be looking out for is the Dragon Sin of Wrath Meliodas – this one is just average, even maxed out, hence the spot in the middle of the Seven Deadly Sins Idle tier list. He is decent against DEX-type targets, but that’s about it.
As a devoted admirer, I must confess my disappointment in the enigmatic figure of Nanashi, the Legendary swordsman. While he possesses an impressive stature and reputation, his combat performance leaves much to be desired. His damage output is average at best, but what’s more troubling is his inconsistency when it comes to fitting into various battle formations.
Demon Hendrickson has the potential to excel, particularly in Player versus Player (PvP) situations, due to his ability to prevent targets from regenerating Health Points. However, outside of PvP, he may not be an essential addition to your team.

He is a Legendary, but he doesn’t really shine through. Avoid investing in him, even if you have him upgraded.
Fraudrin of Selflessness
Fraudrin can be good in PvP because he can revive with 100% HP, while also taunting enemies. However, if you don’t have him levelled up and with a lot of buffs/heals, then he will just end up dying time and time again.
As a gamer, I’d say: “Gilfrost may seem like a great addition with his impressive stats on paper, but he’s not the best use of your resources at the moment. His ultimate ability, which protects allies from damage, is quite powerful, no doubt about that. But when it comes to supports, there are definitely better options out there.”
5 D Tier
At the lowest end of the 7DS Idle tier list, you’ll find all the Rare and Common heroes. These are characters you’ll only gather and enhance for your collection, but they won’t be utilized in battles. Therefore, I advise against investing any resources into them. If you feel compelled to upgrade any or have already done so, then remember to click the red button for a reset if their level is high. Otherwise, there’s no need to use a Reset Coin on it.
6 Reroll guide
In Seven Deadly Sins Idle, it’s not advisable to reroll often because the probability of acquiring the Legendary hero you desire remains relatively consistent before increasing your Summon Level. Your Summon Level starts at almost zero and can reach up to 10, so there’s quite a journey ahead.
Can you reroll in 7DSIA?
Much like other games of this genre, you technically “can” reroll, but I would advise against it. Since the chances are so low, you will end up rerolling and resetting your progress, then having to play all over again, just to end up with the same results.
How to reroll?
If you’re keen on starting anew, ensure you’re logged into a Guest Account first. Then, navigate to Settings > Game Settings > Account, where you can delete your account. Once that’s done, log back in as normal, replay the tutorial, and progress until you reach the Hero Summon option again.
