As a seasoned gamer and auto enthusiast with a soft spot for luxury vehicles, I must say that the Rolls-Royce Phantom Scintilla has left me utterly spellbound! The car’s design, inspired by classical Greek sculpture and the Spirit of Ecstasy, is nothing short of breathtaking.
Rolls-Royce recently presented the Phantom Scintilla, an exclusive model from their Private Collection, which celebrates the timeless Spirit of Ecstasy symbol that adorns the hoods of Rolls-Royce cars for more than a century. This unique vehicle was debuted during this year’s Monterey Car Week in California, and only ten units will be produced globally.
The Phantom Scintilla’s design takes cues from the renowned Greek statue, The Winged Victory of Samothrace. This is evident in the intricate ceramic-crafted Spirit of Ecstasy ornament. The car boasts a beautiful two-tone paint job, featuring Andalusian White on top and Thracian Blue below, symbolizing the waters surrounding the island of Samothrace.
From the inside, I’m utterly captivated by the Phantom Scintilla’s meticulous craftsmanship. The interior showcases an elaborate embroidery design covering the coach doors and seats, made up of a staggering 869,500 stitches – a testament to patience and skill that took more than two and a half years to achieve. This intricate embroidery seems to weave throughout the cabin, echoing the essence of the Spirit of Ecstasy herself. The luminescent effect added to this masterpiece only enhances its captivating allure, elevating its overall dynamic appeal.
Prominent within the Gallery is a stunning piece called “Celestial Pulse,” crafted from aluminum and boasting the same ceramic finish as the Spirit of Ecstasy. Additionally, there’s a custom Starlight Headliner that resembles the flowing attire of the mascot, contributing to an atmosphere of celestial elegance.
As I’m typing this, Rolls-Royce hasn’t shared any details about the price yet. What they have confirmed, though, is that all orders scheduled for North America have been secured.
