As a long-time fan of Nicki Minaj and someone who has patiently waited five years for her new album, I am thrilled to hear about the upcoming deluxe edition of “Pink Friday 2”. The prospect of more music from the Queen is always exciting, and the addition of collaborations with Juice Wrld and potentially even Drake makes it all the more enticing.
Nicki Minaj is preparing to unveil an expanded version of “Pink Friday 2”. Originally released in December 2023, this album marked her return with a new full-length project after a gap of five years.
Following her hints about the upcoming album earlier in the week, Minaj recently provided some additional insights about the project via Instagram Live.
She announced during her live stream, as reported by HipHopDX, that she plans to release an upgraded version of “Pink Friday 2.” The new title for this project will be “Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded.”
“You won’t need to wait much longer. While I don’t have the specific dates just yet, rest assured that it will be released eventually. It’s definitely not happening this week, but it’s on its way.”
Later on, it’s said that Minaj shared brief excerpts of several tracks from her new album, among them a duet with Juice Wrld which had been previously leaked on the internet.
Additionally, she performed a part that she’d previously recorded for Camila Cabello’s “Hot Uptown” track, which ultimately didn’t appear in the final cut of the song alongside Drake.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m pondering over an idea here: Should I include a track by Juice World in the extended version of my album? It’d be absolutely mind-blowing if I could get him featured on this project. What do you all think?
