Granted, it’s not surprising coming from a celebrity with such an affluent lifestyle, but six times the price of Valentino’s most expensive jeans currently available? That’s a whole new level of extravagance!
During the initial phase of promotions for “It Ends With Us,” prior to any BTS drama speculation, our discussions primarily revolved around Blake Lively’s style. Interestingly, at one of the early events she attended for the movie, the jeans she wore were priced at a staggering $19,000. Can you believe it? Indeed, those expensive pants were donned before the release of “It Ends With Us” and I assure you, this isn’t a joke.

Her outfit, while casual, was far from ordinary. It included a white blouse, jeans with floral cutouts extending from her upper thigh to her ankles, and heels. It’s not my belief that Blake Lively or other trendsetting celebrities would opt for off-brand or affordable clothing during promotional events. Instead, they typically showcase high-end designer outfits at public appearances to make a stylish impact. Moreover, their financial resources usually allow them to afford expensive brands. Nevertheless, the price tag of $19,000 seems quite steep!
As a passionate reader of the novel “It Ends With Us,” I eagerly anticipated the film adaptation, and I must say that it did not disappoint in many aspects. The casting of Blake Lively as the protagonist, Lilian, was spot-on, capturing her strength and vulnerability beautifully. However, like any adaptation, it had its flaws inherent to the process of condensing a richly detailed novel into a two-hour film.
The fact that these jeans cost $2,800, which happens to be the highest price for any pair on Valentino’s website right now, makes them particularly striking. In comparison, the current retail price for these designer jeans is over six times higher than the average price of Valentino jeans currently available.
That cost is easily worth at least triple the price of my entire closet, if not more.
Indeed, I pointed out earlier that Blake Lively likely has the means to purchase such an item. Notably, many celebrities often borrow the clothing they don for red carpet events and media tours. Consequently, it’s plausible that she may not actually own those trousers herself.
