Ryan Reynolds Shows New 'Deadpool & Wolverine' Deleted Scene Teasing More of Channing Tatum's Gambit

As a lifelong Marvel fan and someone who has followed the journey of Channing Tatum’s Gambit with bated breath, I can hardly contain my excitement! Ryan Reynolds’ recent Instagram post featuring a deleted scene from Deadpool & Wolverine has sent shockwaves through the Marvel community. The fact that Gambit not only survived but managed to escape the Void is nothing short of miraculous!

Fans of Marvel can look forward to a fresh surprise as Ryan Reynolds unveiled on Instagram a cut scene from Deadpool & Wolverine. On social media, he shared this never-before-seen clip which appears to suggest that Channing Tatum’s character, Gambit, managed to endure the battle in the Void. Incredibly, not only does he make it through alive but also manages to escape the desolation via an interdimensional portal that appeared and is visible in the reflection of Gambit’s eyes.

Much like Reynolds labeled his post, these portals are what Deadpool refers to as “Marvel swirl gates” in the movie. These portals enable Marvel characters to traverse the universe, and it seems that Tatum’s Gambit has stumbled upon one that lets him return to his original universe or even another part of the multiverse. In the past, Tatum has openly discussed the idea of bringing Gambit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Lately, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Tatum shared that he had proposed Gambit to Kevin Feige, and it was positively received. Nevertheless, Feige has also expressed some uncertainty about how it fits in just yet. Although it’s not officially confirmed if Tatum will rejoin the MCU, this is the most convincing hint we’ve got so far.

In the blockbuster movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” Channing Tatum made a shocking appearance, joining forces with Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Wesley Snipes as Blade, and Chris Evans as Johnny Storm. After decades of attempting to bring Gambit to the big screen, Tatum has finally seen part of his dreams come true. When the film set new box office records, Tatum expressed his gratitude to Reynolds in a touching message: “I thought I had given up on Gambit. But you fought for me and Gambit. I’ll be indebted to you forever, as I’m not sure I could ever do something that equals the impact this has had on me. I appreciate you, buddy…I’m so thankful to be in this movie.” Check out the deleted scene below.
