Kartik Aaryan leases out his posh Rs 17.4 crore Juhu apartment and the per-month rent will leave you surprised

As an ardent fan of Kartik Aaryan, I must say, his life seems like a whirlwind of success and smart investments! Renting out his luxurious Mumbai apartment for a hefty sum each month is just another testament to his shrewd business sense. And living in the same building as his parents? Now that’s a dream many of us can only envy!

Kartik Aaryan has leased out his luxurious Mumbai apartment for approximately 4.5 lakh rupees per month, as indicated in property registration documents obtained via the Square Yards prop-tech platform. The lease contract was registered on August 28 and required a stamp duty payment of around 42,500 rupees.

According to a real estate website, when Aaryan and his mother, Mala Tiwari, bought an apartment in Siddhi Vinayak Presidency Co-operative Housing Society on June 30, 2024, they were required to pay a stamp duty of INR 42,500. Spanning over 1,912 square feet, the property cost them a total of INR 17.5 crore.

The transaction involved a stamp duty costing approximately 10.5 million rupees and a registration fee of 30,000 rupees that included two parking spaces. As per data from a real estate platform, the property generates a rental return of 3.1%. Remarkably, this isn’t Aaryan’s sole venture in real estate; in July 2023, his parents bought an apartment worth 165 million rupees on the same building’s 8th floor.

Juhu, known for its scenic coastline and high-end residences, remains a popular choice among celebrities and business elites. The area’s allure is further enhanced by its proximity to luxury facilities. According to Square Yards, the annual rental return on Aaryan’s property stands at 3.1%, demonstrating the percentage of the property’s total worth that is derived from yearly rental income.

In the recent past, I’ve had the pleasure of securing a spacious 3,681-square-foot apartment for lease from the accomplished actor Shahid Kapoor. The terms included a monthly rental fee of INR 7.5 lakh and a substantial security deposit amounting to INR 45 lakh, with the agreement lasting for a period of three years. Interestingly enough, esteemed lyricist Javed Akhtar recently purchased a property in the very same neighborhood, underscoring the timeless allure that Juhu continues to exude.

Currently in his professional life, Aaryan recently starred in Kabir Khan’s sports drama “Chandu Champion.” The film received favorable responses from both audiences and critics. Next up, the actor is preparing for “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” where he will be working alongside Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, and Vidya Balan.

Earlier reports disclosed that Kartik, Anees Bazmee, Bhushan Kumar, and their crew were developing a unique sneak peek for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The team was creating the teaser with the Diwali festival in consideration, targeting to release it by mid-August.

After completing and finalizing the teaser with its VFX effects, they would choose a release date for it. Their intention was to unveil it at the earliest, creating anticipation since they were certain that the content would captivate audiences during the Diwali celebrations. Additionally, the source indicated that the teaser was intended to set the Diwali 2024 launch date in the minds of viewers.

Following the completion of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan was poised to dive into filming the follow-up of Pati Patni Aur Woh, under Mudassar Aziz’s direction. The actor was keen to revert to his familiar approach by embarking on a string of comedic movies.

In a chat with The Indian Express, the filmmaker revealed some exciting news about the upcoming sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh. He mentioned that this project will mark his next directorial endeavor, with key aspects still being solidified. Mudassar Aziz confidently stated that unlike traditional sequels, the follow-up will delve into the intricacies of the relationship between a man, woman, and ‘her,’ breaking away from conventional norms.
