Summoners War introduces new Sorcerer's Weekly Special mission event in Jujutsu Kaisen collab

  • Summoners War: Sky Arena’s Jujutsu Kaisen collab is expanding with a new mission
  • Until September 30th you can take on the challenge for exclusive rewards
  • Face off against your favourite characters in mock battles or meet them as arena rivals

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for both RPGs and shonen series, I can’t help but feel my heart racing at the news of Summoners War: Sky Arena’s Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration expanding. Having followed Itadori Yuji’s thrilling journey since its inception, I must admit that the thought of facing off against these iconic characters within the game is a dream come true.

In a continuation of their partnership with one of the most popular shonen manga series globally, Jujutsu Kaisen, Com2uS’ hit gacha RPG Summoners War: Sky Arena is all set to commence. A special collaboration mission will take place from today until September 30th. During this time, you’ll have the chance to amass a variety of themed prizes as you battle using your beloved characters from the series!

Jujutsu Kaisen is about the teenage character, Yuji Itadori, who stumbles into a hidden world of magic practitioners after accidentally consuming a cursed finger (an unusual event, I know). This act also brands him as a target, since those fingers contain the spirit of an ancient demon named Sukuna. However, there’s a silver lining: Itadori is granted a reprieve and enrolls in Jujutsu Academy to locate the remaining fingers and vanquish Sukuna for good.

Within the game, the collaboration has grown to allow you to obtain Engraved Scrolls and L&D Scrolls if you successfully gather 100 Cursed Crystals each week. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter famous JJK characters as arena opponents and engage them in simulated battles.

Gotcha

Discovering that Jujutsu Kaisen, which I wasn’t fully acquainted with, was wrapping up soon took me by surprise, especially since the announcement was made just a few weeks ago. It’s not surprising then, that Summoners War decided to extend their collaboration given the increased interest in the series. However, this might offer little solace to fans who are now saying farewell to their beloved characters.
