As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours binge-watching TV shows and movies, I can confidently say that Susan Diol is a true gem in the world of acting. Her role as Audrey in Seinfeld might have been a brief one, but it certainly left an indelible mark on the show’s history.
In the TV series, Jerry Seinfeld and his unpolished crew were remarkably straightforward, even ruthless when necessary. The character George (Jason Alexander) finds himself in an awkward situation when his girlfriend Audrey (Susan Diol) is subjected to their collective bluntness in “The Nose Job.” Although George appreciates her overall, he can’t ignore Kramer’s (Michael Richards) candid observation about the size of Audrey’s nose. Despite praising her beauty, Kramer suggests she should consider a nose job. Once the idea is out there, it consumes George’s attention, making him hyper-aware of his girlfriend’s large nose.
That urges him to encourage her to get a nose job in a “subtle” way, one of many upsetting George moments that haven’t aged well. Unfortunately, the surgery is botched, and the sight of her even more terrifying proboscis makes George twitchy. Audrey understandably dumps him, and Kramer ends up taking her in for corrective surgery. Ultimately irritated by George’s inability to be honest, Audrey chooses to go out with Kramer despite his bluntness. Kramer credits a jacket that belongs to his mother’s ex-boyfriend, which is irresistible to women and which he’s been spending the entire episode trying to grab.

She is none other than Beth Calavicci, the estranged spouse of Al (Dean Stockwell) in both the original and revamped cast of “Quantum Leap.” The final leap in the series centers around her character, as Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) is granted an opportunity to ensure that Al and Beth, who are always getting divorced, stay together.
On daytime TV, she portrayed Emmy Borden for 64 episodes of “Days of Our Lives,” and made appearances in two episodes of “Star Trek: Voyager” as Doctor Danara Pel. Recently, she’s been reprising the role of Nurse Clara on “General Hospital,” and has featured in two separate episodes of “NCIS.” Overall, she’s established herself as a seasoned character actor, recognized for her consistent presence on television.
