As a dedicated follower of Bollywood, I have been eagerly waiting for The Lady Killer ever since I heard about its unique script and intriguing premise. With Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar at the helm, it promised to be an exciting blend of romance, thriller, and noir elements. Unfortunately, I couldn’t catch it during its theatrical release due to scheduling conflicts, but now that it’s available for free streaming on YouTube, I can finally watch it from the comfort of my home.
Last November, the movie “The Lady Killer,” starring Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar, made its way to theaters. Now, a few months later, this Ajay Bahl film is available for digital viewing. Prior to its cinema release, the film’s trailer was unveiled a short while beforehand. Unfortunately, only a small number of cinemas screened it, leaving many movie enthusiasts unable to enjoy it on the big screen.
As an absolutely thrilled fan, I’m ecstatic to share that on September 2nd, the creators of The Lady Killer graciously made their masterpiece available for free digital streaming on T-Series’ YouTube channel! Starring none other than Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar, this captivating film has already garnered over 188k views since its debut – and counting! I can hardly wait to see it again and again.
If you missed seeing it in the cinema initially, now’s your chance to catch it at your convenience. Interestingly, neither the cast nor the production company shared any news about this on their social media platforms.
During an interview with TopMob in 2022, the actor portraying Singham Again spoke candidly about the movie during its production. He enthusiastically revealed his affection for the screenplay, stating that he adored it and couldn’t get enough of it.
“He described it as one of the finest scripts he’s ever encountered, possibly the best. It’s stunningly beautiful, so well-written that even if it were to be transformed into a painting, it would still be perfect. This is a noir romantic thriller, unlike anything he’s worked on before, exceptionally unique in its approach, direction, and cinematography.”
Under the direction of Ajay Bahl, the movie known as “The Lady Killer” gained recognition through films such as B.A. Pass, Section 375, and Blurr. In addition to the main actors, this film showcases prominent performances by Priyanka Bose, Srishti Srivastava, S.M. Zaheer, and others in significant roles.
As a die-hard fan, I’m beyond thrilled to share that I’ll soon get a glimpse of Arjun in action, reappearing on the big screen in Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated sequel, “Singham Again”! Starring alongside Ajay Devgn, this film marks a significant milestone for me as Arjun will be portraying an antagonist in the movie. I can hardly wait to see him bring his unique charm and talent to such an intriguing role!
Instead of that, Bhumi can be found in the latest Netflix series titled “Bhakshak”, which is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment.
