Zoe Kravitz spent many years working on her first film before she enlisted Channing Tatum for a leading role in 2022. According to Tatum’s tribute, Kravitz has been tirelessly working on the production of “Blink Twice“, and it seems she is now taking some time to rest. In his praise for his director and romantic partner, Tatum mentioned that Kravitz “poured every bit of herself” into the upcoming release, and he feels “very proud” to be involved with it.

In another perspective, Tatum believes that the extent of Zoë Kravitz’s efforts for her directorial debut may never be fully understood by everyone. However, critics found great enjoyment in it. Our review at TopMob, Blink Twice, awarded the film four out of five stars. Jessica Rawden from our team described it as a “cleverly made” movie that is also visually appealing due to its well-shot scenes.

Initially titled “Pussy Island“, the film was conceptualized around Channing Tatum in the writer’s mind. She revealed to Deadline that she felt a connection from “Magic Mike” and believed he was a “true feminist”, which motivated her to work with him. Soon after joining forces for the movie, whispers of a romantic involvement started circulating between them, and since then, they’ve been candid about their mutual infatuation.

Kravitz expressed in 2022 that he is a “marvelous individual” who brings smiles to him and can converse intelligently on the subject of art. It seems that the two enjoy watching films together, sharing their insights and opinions on them. In October 2023, it was disclosed that the duo were engaged, and they have been quite open about their relationship as they collaborate in promoting the film “Blink Twice“.

Despite not having achieved blockbuster success like “Deadpool & Wolverine”, “Alien: Romulus”, and “It Ends With Us”, “Blink Twice” fell short on its opening weekend earnings. To date, it has grossed $30 million, slightly surpassing its production budget of $20 million.
