Plot:
As a seasoned moviegoer who has witnessed the highs and lows of Bollywood, I must admit that Visfot has managed to keep me glued to my seat from start to finish. The plot is a thrilling rollercoaster ride through Mumbai’s underbelly, revealing a web of corruption that leaves you questioning the morality of those in power.
Shoaib (Fardeen Khan) is a taxi driver residing in Dongri with a desire for a life marked by respect. Unfortunately, an acquaintance Peter, engrossed in the drug trade, entrusts him with a jacket containing drugs unknowingly. This unwanted burden lands him in deep trouble. Not long after, he becomes entangled in a complex scenario revolving around a high-profile kidnapping.
Krystle D’Souza takes on the character of Shoaib’s romantic interest, Lucky, who works at a local coffee shop. Sheeba Chaddha portrays Shoaib’s mother, who has dementia. Riteish Deshmukh plays Akash, father to Paddy, the boy who is abducted. Priya Bapat acts as Tara, Paddy’s mother in this production.

What works for Visfot:
Visfot offers a gripping, action-packed blend of drama and suspense that will keep viewers captivated throughout its duration. The plot moves swiftly, skillfully maintaining your interest as multiple storylines unfold. The thriller aspect is expertly woven together, with the climactic convergence of these threads being particularly engaging to watch.
What doesn’t work for Visfot:
In Visfot, the storyline is quite easy to follow along with. Certain aspects in the movie necessitate a certain amount of imaginative acceptance, making the film less realistic but more exhilarating and enjoyable to watch. Some acting performances in the series, such as those portrayed by Peter and Roshan Appa (Shoaib’s mother), seem unconvincing at times, while there are also a few scenes that feel contrived and could potentially be omitted. However, overall, Visfot is an entertaining masala-filled production.

Performances in Visfot:
Riteish Deshmukh as the helpless father Akash is very good in his role. He shows a solid range in his performance. Priya Bapat as the helpless mother Tara is convincing. Fardeen Khan as Shoaib is promising. Krystle D’Souza as Lucky does well but her character doesn’t get much scope to create major impact. Sheeba Chaddha’s character of Shoaib’s mother Roshan Appa is slightly irritating as a viewer and same goes for Tejas Gaikwad’s character of Peter. Seema Biswas as Acid Tai is menacing. Other supporting characters do a good job in their little role.
