The thought of saying goodbye to these beloved characters is tough, but the camaraderie between the cast members off-screen makes it a tad easier to stomach.
Fans have been fighting to save “Blue Bloods” from TV cancellation since they learned it was ending its 14-year run on CBS in fall 2024. However, their efforts don’t stop there. As we approach the airing of Season 14 episodes, fans are also advocating for Donnie Wahlberg to win People’s Sexiest Man Alive title. Interestingly, Wahlberg, who plays Danny Reagan on the show, has acknowledged this wave of affection, humorously involving his co-star Tom Selleck in the discussion.
The final episodes of Blue Bloods are set to kick off on October 18, and just a few weeks after that, People magazine will announce its readers’ pick for Sexiest Man Alive 2024. Fans apparently mocked up a magazine cover as if the New Kids on the Block singer had been picked, and Donnie Wahlberg shared his appreciation on Instagram Stories, where he gave his thoughts on who he thinks really deserves the honor. In a genuine and heartfelt manner, it’s clear that Donnie Wahlberg values his happiness and good fortune more than his sex appeal. However, public perception is powerful, and people have expressed their viewpoint about him being fortunate or happy rather than sexy.
