Megan Thee Stallion Wants to Collab With Taylor Swift

As a long-time fan of both powerhouses in the music industry, I am absolutely thrilled at the prospect of Megan Thee Stallion and Taylor Swift collaborating! Having grown up listening to their unique sounds, it’s fascinating to witness these two phenomenal artists expressing mutual admiration for each other.

Megan Thee Stallion aims to expand her extensive collaboration roster by teaming up with no one less than Taylor Swift.

The rap artist discussed with People magazine her aspirations of collaborating with the singer-songwriter from The Tormented Lyricists Guild.

Megan shared, “I adore Taylor Swift, and it’s my dream to work together someday. She’s quite amazing, standing tall like a majestic horse. I really appreciate that about her. If we were to collaborate, we’d make such an adorable pair!

Previously, the Grammy-winning artist has demonstrated her admiration for Taylor Swift on more than one occasion. For instance, during the 2023 Video Music Awards, she was seen dancing and showing enthusiasm alongside Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s performance, and afterward, she even showed excitement by fanning herself after the act.

In an interview following the awards show, the artist playfully revealed that Taylor Swift’s real name is Tay Tay. He explained this because when he watched her performance clips, he exclaimed, “Taylor Swift, mate, you must be throwing a party while we’re up here shaking it!

She commented, “She was really enjoying herself. I responded with, ‘I find Taylor Swift quite awful, yet she’s appealing to me.’ I’m quite fond of that.

More recently, Megan teamed up with Travis Kelce, who’s in a relationship with Swift and is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, for a Pepsi commercial to mark the commencement of football season. The action got underway on Thursday when the Chiefs squared off against the Baltimore Ravens, with the Chiefs emerging victorious.

The advertising campaign with a theme based on ‘Gladiator’ combined elements from music, sports, and entertainment, echoing the 2004 Super Bowl commercial featuring Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Pink, and Enrique Iglesias, which depicted the Roman Empire.

Megan will host this year’s VMAs, where Swift again leads the nominations with 10.
