Kid Cudi's "Day 'N' Nite" Certified Diamond by RIAA

As a gamer who’s been through countless levels and battles, I can confidently say that Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite” achievement is the ultimate boss battle victory! Sixteen years in the game, two diamond plaques under his belt – this man’s journey reminds me of completing a tough-as-nails RPG on expert mode.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, the popular song “Day ‘N’ Nite” by Kid Cudi has been awarded a diamond certification, meaning it has reached sales of 10 million copies within the U.S.

This achievement earns Cudder his second diamond plaque, following the one for “Pursuit of Happiness” with MGMT and Ratatat which was also recently certified 12x platinum. He expressed his gratitude in a post saying, “Wow, the blessings just keep coming! This is massive! Thank you all so much for your support and love over the past 16 years; I’m not slowing down any time soon.” To everyone who has ever played or continues to play this song, he wrote, “I love each and every one of you!

Apart from his second diamond-certified song cut, Cudi’s “Man on The Moon” now stands as the initial hip-hop album of the 2000s to receive multiple diamond awards. His inaugural studio album housed two tracks that were nominated for three GRAMMY Awards, including “Day ‘N’ Nite” and “Make Her Say,” a collaboration with Common and Ye.

Incredible! It just seems like the good fortune continues pouring in. This is truly momentous! You’ve all made it happen, and I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support and affection that I’ve received over the past 16 years. Rest assured, there’s no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

TO ANYONE WHO BUMPED THIS SONG AND STILL DO TO THIS DAY, I LOVE YOU!! 🥹❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️…
