As per Mid-Day’s report, the documentary series titled “The Roshans” by Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan is set to premiere on Netflix in December. This series aims to shed light on the achievements and hardships faced by all the artistic members of their family. Notable figures like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Sham Kaushal will also be featured, providing glimpses into their lives.

Last year, a trusted source revealed to TopMob an exclusive detail: Rakesh Roshan is working on a unique documentary that explores the significant impact of the Roshan family in the Indian film industry. The source further disclosed, “The narrative will trace back to Roshan Lal Nagrath, who immigrated to Mumbai in 1947 and became one of the prominent music directors during the 1950s and 1960s. The story then follows his sons, Rakesh and Rajesh Roshan, who made their mark in acting, direction, and music, and eventually leads to their grandson Hrithik, now a leading figure among modern-day Bollywood stars.

It’s been disclosed that the documentary is expected to be a high-profile event, mirroring Netflix India’s recent release ‘The Romantics.’ Furthermore, directed by Shashi Ranjan, it will incorporate historical footage and in-depth interviews with numerous Bollywood stars who have collaborated with the Roshans over the years. If accurate, the release is set for January 2025, marking Hrithik Roshan’s 25th anniversary in acting and his 51st birthday on the 10th of that month.
