KuCoin Airdrops KCS Tokens to Typhoon Yagi Victims

As a researcher with a keen interest in both technology and humanitarian efforts, I find KuCoin’s initiative to be truly commendable. Having witnessed the devastating effects of natural disasters firsthand, I can attest to the profound impact such aid can have on affected communities. This move by KuCoin not only demonstrates their strong commitment to corporate social responsibility but also underscores their dedication to making a positive global impact.

Responding with compassion to the destruction caused by Typhoon Yagi in northern Vietnam, KuCoin has declared an ambitious plan to offer assistance and aid to the impacted communities.

Showing a firm dedication towards corporate social responsibility, KuCoin plans to distribute up to 10,000 KCS tokens, with each token worth approximately US$20, as aid for individuals affected by the disaster.

This substantial contribution underscores KuCoin’s commitment to providing assistance worldwide during emergencies. The aid is slated for distribution to qualified users in 25 severely impacted cities of Vietnam, which include Ha Giang, Cao Bang, and Hanoi, starting from September 18. Qualified users will receive the funds incrementally over time.

To be eligible for this assistance, individuals must meet the following criteria: They should be verified as KYC3/KYB users of Vietnamese nationality and they should have completed transactions between August 1st and September 12th, 2024. The administration of this aid will be handled by KuCoin’s internal systems, and the aid itself will take the form of compensation credit vouchers. These vouchers can be swapped for an equal amount of KCS tokens within a 30-day period directly in the KuCoin app under “My Coupons.

As a crypto investor, I’m proud to be part of the KuCoin community that continually demonstrates its dedication to global betterment. By providing practical aid during difficult times, they are helping individuals and communities around the world to regain their footing and rebuild their lives.
