AMC Theatres, a significant player in the exhibition industry, has chosen Marcus Glover, the Chief Financial Officer at Bally’s Corporation, to join their Board of Directors, with the appointment taking effect from September 12th.
Beginning from May 2023, Glover has held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer within a casino-entertainment company. As of now, he is set to join AMC Theatres’ board as a Class 1 director, with his tenure ending at the 2027 annual meeting of shareholders. Furthermore, Glover will be part of the audit committee on the board.
AMC Theatres announced that Glover has a wealth of knowledge in finance, operations, and management, accumulated from serving as the CFO of a publicly-traded corporation,” (informal: “Glover has been around the block in terms of business management, with experience as the top financial guy at a public company”)
Prior to his present position, Glover held the role of Chief Strategy Officer at QPSI LLC, a company specializing in supply chain solutions and contract packaging, from October 2021 until May 2023. Earlier in his career, he was both the President and COO of the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa, as well as the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. He also worked in various high-ranking roles within Caesars Entertainment.
