As a lifestyle expert with extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry, I cannot help but feel deeply moved by Vijayta Pandit’s heartfelt plea for support and guidance for her talented son Avitesh Shrivastava. Having lost her husband Aadesh Shrivastava, a renowned music composer who made significant contributions to Bollywood, Vijayta is understandably seeking assistance from industry heavyweights like Shah Rukh Khan.
Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava sadly passed away due to cancer in 2015. More recently, his wife, Vijayta Pandit (a former actress), shared insights about their son, Avitesh Shrivastava, who’s following in his father’s footsteps as a singer, composer, and actor. She voiced her worry that he hasn’t been receiving the necessary support from the film industry. Vijayta reminisced about how Shah Rukh Khan used to visit Aadesh in the hospital and had pledged assistance for their son, but now she finds it difficult to reach him.
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Vijayta stated in Hindi that her son Avitesh works diligently, having recorded music with artists like Akon and French Montana, among others. However, she expressed disappointment that he is not receiving support or guidance within the film industry. She mentioned that now that Aadesh is no longer around, it is important for people in the industry to step up and assist her son. She said in Hindi, “You won’t believe when Aadesh was in the hospital, Shah Rukh Khan used to come and meet. One day before he died, Aadesh held Shah Rukh’s hand, when he could not even talk, and gestured pointing towards our son that he should look after him. Today, I am just not able to contact Shah Rukh; the number that was given to my son is not working.
She also made sure to stress to Jawan actor that he was a dear friend of Aadesh, highlighting the importance of this moment where they needed his support. She conveyed that her child, who symbolizes their future, needs help. Additionally, she mentioned that at present, neither is she earning nor engaged in any occupation.
She suggested that Shah Rukh Khan could produce a film with her son under his banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. She praised Avitesh as a talented actor, mentioning his upcoming film Sir Ek Friday, which will be released on an OTT platform, and highlighted his hard work.
Vijayta pointed out that although Shah Rukh Khan has become a major star today, it was her music composer brothers Jatin-Lalit who played a crucial part in his rise to fame. She highlighted how they composed many popular songs for films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, among others. Vijayta stressed that, considering the significant role her family has played in his career, it would be fitting if Shah Rukh Khan extended some support to them now.
