Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir's THESE songs ft Jaaved Jaaferi are considered two of his 'most underrated' dance numbers by actor-dancer

As an ardent fan of Jaaved Jaaferi, I find myself utterly captivated by his rich and vibrant career in the Indian film industry. His journey, filled with collaborations with some of Bollywood’s biggest names, is nothing short of mesmerizing.

Jaaved Jaaferi is a well-known actor and skilled dancer who has been part of the Indian film industry for quite some time. Throughout his illustrious career, he has worked alongside numerous Bollywood celebrities such as Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Arjun Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and many more. Interestingly, among many dance numbers he’s performed, Jaaved considers two of them to be among the most underappreciated pieces of his career. In a recent interview, Jaaved disclosed that these performances were alongside Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

During an interview with India Today about his film journey, Jaaved Jaaferi reminisced about dancing on two lively tracks alongside Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. The actor from Besharam fondly remembered his role as a secondary lead to Aamir in the 1990 romantic movie called Jawani Zindabad. In this film, there was a dance number choreographed by Saroj Khan that featured around 50 to 100 dancers. “In my view,” he said during the conversation, “this was one of the most underappreciated songs in my career. Despite its massive production and grandeur, it didn’t receive the recognition it deserved.

Later on, the actor discussed the film “Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India!”, starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Ketan Mehta. Regarding a second ‘underappreciated performance’, Javed revealed that the song had a distinct mafia atmosphere to it, created by Shankar Mahadevan. “The way the song was filmed, along with everything else about it, made this a personal favorite of mine,” Jaaferi concluded.

Speaking as a lifestyle expert, let me share an influential moment in my personal cinematic journey. If I had to single out one track that truly transformed my perspective, it would be Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hain from the 1988 horror film Woh Phir Aayegi. As a seasoned actor like Total Dhamaal’s star, I was given the unique opportunity to assemble the entire song myself, thanks to the producer’s trust. What made this experience extraordinary was that I was asked to dance alone for an extended four-and-a-half minutes in the film. This was uncharted territory for any actor, making it a revolutionary moment in Indian cinema.
