Movie 2 is the follow-up to the 2018 release titled Stree. Similar to its prequel, it unfolds in the town of Chanderi. The original cast members, including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi, return to play their well-loved characters. This film is brought to you by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, with Amar Kaushik at the helm as director. The production team includes Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.

Previously, for Rajkummar’s 40th birthday celebration, Patralekhaa posted a touching message on Instagram. Expressing her love and well-wishes, she also acknowledged the movies he would be releasing in the year 2024.
