Prior to the launch of “Never Let Go”, we had a conversation with Halle Berry. In this chilling new thriller, she portrays a worried mother who will go to any lengths to safeguard her family. Given that it’s directed by Alexandre Aja, who is known for his work on “Crawl”, there are sure to be several genuinely terrifying moments in the film. The plot unfolds in a misty wilderness, where dangerous creatures stalk the mother and her two young sons if they don’t adhere to a specific set of guidelines that keep them connected to their isolated home seemingly in the midst of nowhere.
“I loved it,” Belly told MovieWeb of working in the horror-thriller realm of cinema.
In simpler terms, “I enjoy playing roles that don’t require me to be overly groomed or polished. Characters where I can show up looking unkempt yet it fits the part perfectly. Sometimes I wouldn’t even take a shower before coming to set because it added to the grungy, dirty feel of the character, which I found appealing.
In a deeply moving portrayal, Berry fully embraces the character of “Momma” in the film “Never Let Go“, displaying an authenticity that resonates. Since becoming a mother 16 years ago, she has carried the role within her. Channeling her personal feelings about motherhood, she becomes a fierce protector in this production. Although this character is quite dark, she also embodies the protective and strong qualities of a mother.

Moreover, they are exceptionally gifted actors, making them stand out among their peers.
