Adam Scott to Appear in Michigan as Part of Kamala Harris Reproductive Freedom Bus Tour

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for political drama and a deep appreciation for the intricacies of Shondaland’s shows, I find myself both captivated and inspired by the real-life political escapades unfolding across the nation. The recent news of Adam Scott’s busy Monday in Michigan has piqued my interest, as it seems to be a blend of the gaming world I love and the political landscape I’ve grown to admire.

Adam Scott has a busy Monday planned in a battleground state.

As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that I, being the star of “Severance”, have scheduled consecutive appearances in Michigan to back the Democratic duo of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. It’s official! I’ll be joining the Fighting for Reproductive Freedom Bus Tour at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where I’ll connect with Lieutenant Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II to engage supporters and volunteers on campus. Later, I’m excited to headline a student organizing event off-campus. Can’t wait to be part of this incredible journey!

Beginning in Palm Beach, Florida on September 3, the bus tour is making its way through significant locations across various states. Among these are Michigan, where visits are planned for cities like Madison Heights, Flint, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Marquette. As per the Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign, each stop aims to highlight the clear difference between Vice President Harris and Governor Walz, who intend to reinstate the protections of Roe v. Wade once a bill is passed in Congress, and Donald Trump and JD Vance, who will implement their potentially harmful Project 2025 policy to outlaw abortion throughout the country, limit access to birth control, require states to report on miscarriages and abortions, and potentially threaten IVF services.

On Sunday, the stars of the television series “Scandal”, including Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Guillermo Díaz, Bellamy Young, Katie Lowes, Dan Bucatinsky, Scott Foley, Portia de Rossi, George Newbern, Jeff Perry and Cornelius Smith Jr., joined a tour stop at a canvass launch in Madison Heights.

For quite some time, Scott has been a strong supporter of women’s reproductive freedoms. In June, he collaborated with Doug Emhoff, husband of Harris, for a discussion focusing on the crucial role men play in upholding women’s reproductive rights. Taking to Instagram, the actor expressed his belief that it’s essential to support women to reinstate and safeguard their right to basic healthcare services. He was part of the organizing committee for the Center for Reproductive Rights’ Los Angeles fundraiser in March and had previously contributed to a video initiative for this organization back in 2020.
