- Star Wars: Hunters’ Season 3 update introduces Pilbush, an Ewok Grenadier
- It also brings a Hoth-inspired map to the game
- You can also get emotes for the first time, perfect for irritating other players following a kill
As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for Star Wars and a knack for online multiplayer battles, I must say that the arrival of Season 3 in Star Wars: Hunters is a welcome addition to my gaming arsenal. The introduction of Pilbush, the Ewok Grenadier, brings a fresh and adorable twist to the game, offering a unique playstyle with her bouncy explosives and AT-ST-inspired ride.
In Zynga’s Star Wars: Hunters, Season 3 has now been released! Unlike the last season which added a robot without arms to the roster, this new season introduces a more adorable and fluffy character, yet equally dangerous – an Ewok named Pilbush who is not only armed with grenades but also a fervent supporter of the Rebel Alliance.
She enters combat aboard a vehicle resembling an AT-ST, known as the All Terrain Ewok Transport. Notably, her main weapon is a Grenade Launcher that shoots explosives capable of bouncing off the surroundings, providing impressive and undeniably irritating ricochet kills for those targeted.
In the meantime, she unleashes her Ultimate move, Cluster Bombs, which scatter a number of explosives towards her adversaries. These bombs not only inflict harm on anyone in their blast zone, but they also push them away, offering you valuable time to regroup.
In addition to Pilbush, Season 3 introduces a fresh map, creatively titled Hoth Frontline, reminiscent of our beloved frozen world, Hoth. This map includes chilling trenches and Rebel Alliance hangars for intense combat. If you pause to appreciate the surroundings, you’ll notice AT-ATs slowly trudging across the landscape while snowspeeders zip by overhead.
Of course, no update is complete without a tonne of cosmetics. So, you can also expect new Costumes, Weapon Wraps, Stickers, Avatars, and Victory Poses. The new season also introduces Emotes for the first time, allowing you to taunt your opponents after outmanoeuvring them on the battlefield. What’s that? You can use them for other things, you say? Sure, you could. But who does?
