Coldplay India Fever: Amul drops fun post after tickets for band’s shows sell out in no time; ‘Fans left in the cold’

As a seasoned concert-goer and music enthusiast with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the Coldplay India tour frenzy of 2025 has truly taken the world by storm. Having attended numerous shows across continents, I can attest to the fact that the excitement surrounding this iconic band is palpable and undeniable.

Coldplay, a widely recognized band, has been making news lately regarding their upcoming tour in India. Tickets for their shows in 2025 vanished quickly, with some fortunate ones snatching them up while many others missed out. Now, Amul India has jumped into the excitement and shared a playful post about it. The post humorously hinted at how fans were left feeling chilly due to the quick sell-out.

On September 24, 2024, the official Instagram account of Amul India posted about the nationwide Coldplay ticket rush. In the image, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was depicted on a screen, holding a microphone and a slice of buttered bread simultaneously. A ‘SOLD OUT’ sign was displayed prominently in the center of the screen. The Amul girl gestured towards the screen, also holding a microphone.

A caption on the photo’s edge read, “Some Fans Missed Out in the Chilly Weather,” hinting that not all fans had obtained tickets. At the base was written, “Want to Grab a Bite?” – a nod to one of their well-known songs.

The popular pop band Coldplay’s concerts have all been sold out, causing quite a stir!

2025 tickets for Coldplay’s India concert during their Music of the Spheres tour went on sale September 22. Their performances are scheduled at DY Patil Stadium on January 18th, 19th, and 21st.

Previously, filmmaker Karan Johar, in a heartfelt message on his Instagram Stories, admitted to the hype surrounding tickets and said, “Dearest privilege, it’s always good to have you around for a reality check… You can’t have everything you desire, my dear… Warm regards… Frugality.” It seems that even the director of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani wasn’t able to obtain tickets.
