As an ardent fan of Bollywood, I can’t help but leap with joy at the news of Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri joining forces for Suresh Triveni’s upcoming film! It’s like watching the old guard meet the new, a fusion of silver screen royalty and the rising star of today.

Legendary Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, famously known as the “Dhak-Dhak” girl, has been captivating audiences for many years. Beginning her journey in 1984 with the film Abodh, she became a household name through memorable movies such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Tezaab, Dil To Pagal Hai, Devdas, and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. According to recent reports, Madhuri is teaming up with Animal actress Triptii Dimri for a new film. In this upcoming project directed by Suresh Triveni, who previously worked on the critically acclaimed Tumhari Sulu, it’s believed that Madhuri and Triptii will portray the roles of mother and daughter.

Based on information from Midday, actresses Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit are set to work together in an as-yet-unnamed film by director Suresh Triveni. They will portray the roles of mother and daughter in this production. As of now, the male lead has not been confirmed. It’s also reported that the upcoming movie, a mix of drama, comedy, and action, will include exciting and suspenseful elements as well.

The report further suggested that Suresh Triveni, who has helmed movies like Tumhari Sulu (2017) and Jalsa (2022), was keen to cast Triptii and Madhuri in the film. The makers of the dramedy will start shooting next summer.

Triptii Dimri made her acting debut with the 2017 film “Poster Boys,” where she starred alongside Shreyas Talpade, Bobby Deol, and Sunny Deol. Notable films in which she has appeared include “Laila Majnu” and “Qala.” Additionally, Triptii is recognized for her role in Anushka Sharma’s Netflix production, “Bulbbul.

Last year, the actress played a significant role alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the movie “Animal.” This marked a major breakthrough for her in Bollywood, earning her widespread acclaim as one of India’s national crushes. More recently, Triptii took on a leading part in Anand Tiwari’s film “Bad Newz.” Notably, she shared screen time with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, who were featured in Karan Johar’s production.

Triptii is getting ready for Raaj Shaandilyaa’s upcoming directorial project titled “Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.” This humorous movie is set to hit theaters on October 11. It will compete with the film starring Alia Bhatt, Jigra, at the box office. Additionally, Triptii has another project lined up, Dhadak 2, where she will be working alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi.

Previously, Suresh Triveni collaborated with performers like Vidya Balan, Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia, Shefali Shah, and Rohini Hattangadi prior to working with Triptii and Madhuri.
