'Full of Lies:' Woman Arrested At Disneyland Is Now Threatening To Sue The Park

As a gamer with years of experience navigating virtual worlds and real-life amusement parks alike, I find myself both shocked and saddened by this recent incident at Disneyland Resort. It seems that the magical escape we all crave from our everyday lives has taken an unexpected turn into a legal battlefield.

A visit to Disneyland Resort is meant as a break from everyday life. Whether you prefer experiencing the top thrill rides at Disneyland or cuddling up with your favorite Disney characters, it’s always a joyful experience. However, it’s important to note that typically, guests do not depart in handcuffs.

A video recently spread online, featuring an incident at Disneyland Resort where a woman was apprehended in front of her kids. The authorities stated that this woman had previously failed to purchase tickets for her children’s entry, which wasn’t just happening for the first time. However, the woman has since come forward, denying these allegations and claiming they are fabricated.

Woman Handcuffed At Disneyland Is Promising Legal Action

The individual featured in the widely-shared videos has been revealed as Jessenia Diaz, aged 26, hailing from Torrance, California. In two since-removed TikTok posts (as reported by the L.A. Daily News), Diaz – claiming to possess a Disneyland Magic Key annual pass – asserts that she indeed purchased tickets for her children. However, following her arrest, she alleges that both the tickets and her phone were taken from her. According to TMZ, Diaz has already hired a lawyer and is gearing up to file a lawsuit against Disneyland.

If Diaz indeed purchased the tickets, it’s puzzling what incident may have led to her arrest since she supposedly didn’t pay for her kids’ entry into the park. The Anaheim police assert that not only did she enter without paying for her children on this occasion, but they claim this was the fourth time in two months that she had done so. It is alleged that Diaz forced her way through the barriers at Disney California Adventure, prompting security to be alerted and track her movement throughout the park until they apprehended her close to the park’s end.

It appears highly unlikely, given the situation, that Diaz is still allowed access to Disneyland, and it’s possible her annual pass for the Magic Key has been taken away. Diaz has expressed her intention to share more details about what transpired before her arrest on TikTok, alleging that Disney has misrepresented the facts.

Disneyland’s Ticket Rules For Children Don’t Require Age Verification

At Disneyland Resort, children below the age of three can enter the parks without charge. However, starting from age three, they require a child ticket, which is just about ten dollars cheaper than an adult ticket. It’s worth noting that Disneyland tickets have seen a significant increase in price and now cost over $100 for a single day visit. It’s not unusual for parents to bend the age rules by claiming their kids entering Disney Parks are younger than three, since there isn’t a verification system in place, making it challenging for Cast Members to distinguish children close to the age limit.

If a new lawsuit is about to be filed against us, possibly as soon as this week, then this situation isn’t yet resolved. Not long ago, Disneyland successfully defended itself in another lawsuit initiated by a couple who were members of Club 33. Their memberships were revoked after the man was accused of being intoxicated within the park. The couple has invested around $400,000 in this legal battle and have declared their intention to carry on fighting.
