Despite being thankful for her debut and continuing to feel blessed, Deepika admitted that at the time, she harbored self-doubt about whether she could become a muse for someone as accomplished as him.
In the year 2012, Deepika found herself bedrid sick. It was then that her team notified her about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s desire to discuss a movie project with her.
Initially taken aback by the news, she blurted out that she’d go to any length to encounter him; however, she found herself unable to rise from her bed. Soon after, it turned out that he was en route to visit her.
