A24 Releases Trailer for Hugh Grant-Led Horror Thriller ‘Heretic’

In no time, the girls come to understand they’ve entered the wrong home, finding themselves ensnared in a chilling game of cat and mouse with Mr. Reed. Before them stands a perplexing room with two doors, representing ‘faith’ and ‘doubt.’ The teaser suggests that beyond those doors lurk nightmares these girls must bravely confront to ensure their survival. Despite his friendly demeanor in the preview, Grant’s character exudes a sinister air as he subjects the missionaries to harrowing situations, further emphasizing his cunning nature.

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods are the creative minds behind the A Quiet Place series, a franchise that’s nearly achieved cult-like status due to its unique approach to apocalyptic horror. These two filmmakers have also directed other suspenseful movies such as Nightlight, Haunt, and 65.
