2024’s eagerly awaited Honor of Kings Championship is rapidly approaching, starting on October 12th at the MGP Space in Jakarta, Indonesia. This global esports tournament gathers the top 16 teams from every corner of the earth, all vying for a slice of the massive $1M prize money, with $300,000 earmarked for the triumphant team.

The Championship for “The Honor of Kings” commences with a group phase, consisting of three-game series, where the top teams from each group move forward to the elimination stage starting on October 18th. As we progress, the competition heats up, transitioning into a double-elimination bracket played best-of-five games, culminating in the finals on October 27th. The ultimate contenders will then clash in a best-of-seven series to decide the victor of the 2024 tournament.

16 teams have been organized into four groups, each one showcasing intense rivalry. In Group A, you’ll find squads from Indonesia, Turkey, and the Philippines. Group B consists of Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and France. Group C and D also offer a diverse representation with teams hailing from Brazil, Myanmar, Hong Kong, and Singapore respectively.

Beyond just the tournament itself, there are numerous in-game activities for you as a spectator to enjoy. You’ll have the opportunity to watch the tournament live on the in-game television, and even participate in tasks that could earn you all the heroes and skins released by October 1st. Moreover, quiz events will be offered from the preliminary rounds up to the finals, providing a fun and interactive way to follow the tournament and collect prizes.
