Alia Bhatt wants daughter Raha to watch Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi and her film Student Of The Year first: ‘It's a chill like film...’

As a devoted fan following the captivating journey of Alia Bhatt, I find myself deeply moved by her heartfelt expressions about her personal and professional life. Her unwavering love for her daughter, Raha, is evident, and it’s truly inspiring to witness how motherhood has added a new dimension to her life.

Alia Bhatt, currently swamped with work, frequently expresses in interviews that her daughter Raha is the main source of joy in her life. Besides acting, motherhood brings her immense happiness and pride. In a recent interview, the actress disclosed that she wants Raha to see her debut film, Student Of The Year, first because it’s vibrant, musical, and appropriate for her age. Conversely, she hopes Raha will watch her father, Ranbir Kapoor’s Barfi. She also mentioned that her films Highway, Udta Punjab, and Gangubai Kathiawadi had the most significant impact on her.

Alia Bhatt recently had a chat with IMDb, during which she was asked which movie of hers with Ranbir Kapoor she would want her daughter to see first. The actress responded by saying she might suggest “Student of the Year” because it’s actually the most relaxed and child-friendly film among their collaborations.

Despite not being overly pleased with her role in the movie, the loving mother believes that the songs would resonate well with Raha (her daughter), considering her age. In reference to the film starring Ranbir Kapoor, she expressed, “I think she might find it enjoyable watching Ranbir, perhaps Barfi… yes, Barfi is a suitable choice.

Beyond discussing her personal matters, she was posed some queries regarding her professional journey. Notably, she was asked to identify which roles she believed sparked the most transformation within herself. In response, Alia pondered and stated, “I believe the first film that triggered a notable change in my character was ‘Highway’. This could be due to the fact that I spent a considerable amount of time on the road, away from home for the first time.

Besides Highway, Alia Bhatt disclosed that playing her role in Udta Punjab left her feeling uneasy. She shared that to deliver her performance effectively, she found herself withdrawing both physically and emotionally from the world during that particular timeframe.

Additionally, the critically acclaimed movie, Gangubai Kathiawadi, has made the list due to being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Following the production of this film, Alia Bhatt confessed that she emerged from the experience transformed.

On the work front, Alia will next be seen in Alpha and Sanay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
