As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the Manba One wireless controller has piqued my interest like no other. The built-in two-inch interactive screen is not just a novelty, but a game-changer for customizing settings on the fly without needing extra software or apps.
Manba has released a wireless controller that features a built-in two-inch interactive screen.
The Manba One comes in two hues: black and white, and it works seamlessly across numerous platforms such as Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS. Notably, this controller stands out due to its built-in screen that lets users adjust settings directly on the device itself, bypassing the need for external software or apps commonly required by customizable controllers. The customizable aspects on this interactive screen include fine-tuning vibration intensity, joystick sensitivity, button assignments, and RGB lighting effects.
Manba assertively states that personalization lies at the heart of their controller, and it’s equipped with a 2-inch screen. Moreover, the back of this controller boasts four customizable buttons. These buttons can be tailored to execute whatever actions desired by the user, even complex key combinations often referred to as macros. With one press, you can execute intricate special moves using these macros. Each button offers up to four distinct settings, and users can effortlessly toggle between them using the interactive display.
The Manba One game controller includes an integrated 1800mAh battery that offers approximately 12 hours of gaming time on a single charge. In the package, you’ll find a charging dock which keeps the controller fully charged and at the ready. This dock not only serves as a charging station but also functions as a storage solution for the controller and a home for the included Bluetooth transmitter.
The controller weighs 295 g (around 0.6 lbs), which, for comparison, is around 50 g (0.1 lbs) heavier than Nintendo’s official Switch Pro Controller. Like the Pro Controller, the Manba One has is capable of motion controls thanks to a six-axis gyroscope. It features interchangeable, drift-proof, Hall Effect joysticks and comes with two sizes of stick in the box. And, with comfort in mind, the Manba One is ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue over long play periods.
The Manba One is available now in two colors via the brand’s website priced at $69.99.
