On Dusshera night in Mumbai, NCP Leader Baba Siddique was fatally shot. The brutal murder was claimed by the gang of notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, who stated that Siddique’s close connections with Salman Khan were the motivation behind the crime. It has been reported that the actor, Salman Khan, has been having difficulty sleeping and has canceled all his scheduled meetings as a result.
Security measures around Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai have been intensified, with multiple security personnel posted outside Galaxy Apartments due to increased worries following Baba Siddique’s passing. Meanwhile, it has emerged that the Khan family has asked Salman’s friends to avoid visiting him.
A report in India Today stated that Salman Khan is deeply affected and experiencing significant distress following the loss of his close friend, Baba Siddique. It was added that Baba wasn’t just a friend to him, but more like a beloved family member. Recently, when Baba and his son Zeeshan visited Salman at home, they were warmly received with much affection.
Additionally, Salman swiftly made his way to Lilavati Hospital following the unfortunate event, demonstrating his loyal nature. Moreover, it’s been disclosed that the star couldn’t rest and continually monitored Zeeshan and the family after returning from the hospital.
My brother has been on the phone handling funeral details and various other aspects of it. He’s also canceled his personal appointments for the coming days,” the source stated.
Beyond Salman alone, his brothers Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, and other family members are all deeply affected by this recent news as well.
In simpler terms, an announcement on Facebook from someone linked to Lawrence Bishnoi’s group acknowledged taking credit for the assassination. They claimed the politician was targeted due to connections with Salman Khan and underworld personalities such as Dawood Ibrahim and Anuj Thapan.
Siddique was killed outside his office around 9:30 pm when two to three shots were fired at him. Two out of three shooters were detained immediately, while one of them is still on the run. The last rites of Siddique will be carried out today, i.e. October 13, 2024, in Mumbai at 7: 00 pm.
