Fans of Marvel are treated to a preview of an epic showdown they’ve longed for, as a concept trailer offers a glimpse into the possibility of Wolverine and the Hulk clashing in live-action. This highly anticipated encounter between two legendary Marvel characters has been portrayed in comics, animated series, video games, and more. Although this year’s blockbuster film Deadpool & Wolverine hinted at a fight between versions of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and the Hulk, YouTuber @TheJulianBell has now envisioned what a fight between the yellow-suited Logan (Wolverine) and Mark Ruffalo’s Incredible Hulk might be like on screen.
The Wolverine versus Hulk tease in the Deadpool sequel as just one of several crowd-pleasing moments in the movie, which delivered to fans the sorts of cameos that Marvel dreams are made of, including the return of Wesley Snipes’ Blade, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Henry Cavill as a variant of Wolverine, and even a comic-accurate Logan who stands at 5’3’’. Will Hugh Jackman Play Wolverine Again in the MCU?
Originally, it was believed that the 2017 blockbuster Logan, starring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, marked the end of his portrayal of the Marvel legend. However, with the character being drawn into the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Deadpool, fans are now speculating about this version’s future. There are whispers that Jackman might reprise his role as Wolverine (the one introduced in the Deadpool sequel) for the 2027 film Avengers: Secret Wars. This could serve as a fitting farewell for Jackman’s portrayal of the character within the MCU, but the future remains uncertain for Wolverine in this continuing universe.

“Did you know Marvel is marking its 85th anniversary this summer? And Disney has already celebrated a century. It seems these characters will endure for another hundred years or more, long after we’re gone. So it’s almost certain that there will be another actor stepping into the role of Wolverine someday. I think the portrayal will be distinctly different from what we’ve seen before. If someone were to try and mimic Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, that could turn out to be a significant misstep.
