Donald Trump Fumes Over “Fake and Classless” Biopic ‘The Apprentice’

As a die-hard fan of the dramatic twists and turns that Hollywood can deliver, I must say that “The Apprentice” biopic has certainly not disappointed! The behind-the-scenes drama surrounding this film is as captivating as any scripted series.

Previously elected U.S. President Donald Trump has made it clear that he isn’t fond of the show “The Apprentice,” as he openly expresses this sentiment to everyone.

This biographical movie traces Donald Trump’s early years as he transformed into the renowned real estate mogul, famously known as “The Donald,” during his rise to fame in the 80s. The film premiered in approximately 1,700 cinemas across the country and managed to earn a modest $1.6 million in its opening weekend. Trump criticized the movie on Monday following the release of these figures, as it ranked 10th overall for the weekend, falling behind even The Apprentice.

As a supporter, I can’t help but express my disdain for the phony and disrespectful film, titled “The Apprentice,” which allegedly portrays me. I hope it flops miserably. It’s a low-budget, slanderous, and politically repugnant attempt to tarnish our remarkable political movement, strategically released before the 2024 Presidential Election in an effort to undermine the greatest political movement in the history of our nation.

The GOP contender declared, ‘Make America Great Again!’ He then commented on the movie, saying his late wife Ivana was a kind and amazing person, and we had a fantastic relationship until her passing. The author of this baseless work, Gabe Sherman, a disreputable and untalented writer, who has been widely debunked, knew my truth, but chose to overlook it. It’s tragic that such despicable individuals, like those involved in this unsuccessful project, are permitted to spread lies about a Political Movement, which is more significant than any one person. MAGA2024!

In this two-hour movie, Sebastian Stan from the Captain America series plays Donald Trump as he’s guided by Roy Cohn, portrayed by Jeremy Strong (from Succession), demonstrating how Cohn influenced the persona we recognize today of Trump. The film further explores a romantic relationship between Stan’s Trump and his first wife Ivana, played by Maria Bakalova, and includes a controversial scene depicting an alleged rape of Ivana by Trump, which she accused him of during their divorce but later retracted the claim.

For quite some time now, supporters of Donald Trump have been urging to halt the screening of the film, which initially premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Back in May, a legal notice was delivered by Trump’s lawyer to the director of ‘The Apprentice’, Ali Abbasi, as well as its screenwriter, Gabriel Sherman.
