Norda expands their autumn lineup by introducing a “Maple” variant of the 003 model. This laceless, easy-slip shoe is designed for versatile use in approach, scrambling, and recovery situations. The 003 showcases an elasticized version of Norda’s signature Bio-Dyneema on its upper, maintaining its form even with heavy usage, and employs the brand’s unique underfoot combination: a Vibram SLE midsole along with an outsole that leverages Vibram’s Litebase and Megagrip technologies.
The distinctive feature of the “Maple” model is that it introduces a pioneering waterproof Graphene-enhanced membrane as its colorway, an innovation that was previously only seen in the HAVEN x norda 003 but not in the “Pitch Black” and “Cinder” versions of this shoe.
Visually, the “Maple” model maintains its namesake elegance, boasting a deep golden-brown upper that’s contrasted by a black neckline and collar with white edging, a tan suede heel overlay, white midsole, gray outsole, and a striking burgundy detail on the heel tab.
Previously, the models of norda 003 were sold at $295 USD. However, the “Maple” version might cost $325 USD, similar to the price of our collaboration with HAVEN, because it has an additional waterproof layer. Regardless, it’s set to be available on the norda webstore on October 24th.
