Aditya Roy Kapur reveals his relationship status and admits he prefers blocking over ghosting: ‘I’m bad with my...’

As an ardent follower of Bollywood drama, I must say, these latest revelations from Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have certainly added fuel to the fire of speculation! It seems like both of them are masters of their own unique brand of love-related antics.

Recently on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show What Women Want, Aditya Roy Kapur openly discussed aspects of his personal life. In a teaser for the episode, Aditya, who is said to have ended his relationship with Ananya Panday earlier this year, casually referred to his current relationship status as “chilled out.” Moreover, he disclosed that when it comes to relationships, he prefers cutting off contact completely instead of disappearing, saying, “I’m not good with my phone.

In the advertisement, Kareena inquires from Aditya Roy Kapur about his approach towards being ghosted in a relationship. Aditya explained that he typically chooses to cut off communication by blocking the person instead. He mentioned, “I receive hundreds of messages! I’m not good with my phone at all. An entire day can pass, and I’ll just… block.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but pry about your relationship situation, Aditya. “Many ladies are curious about that,” Bebo casually mentioned. To which, you playfully retorted, “Is ‘hanging out’ a status?” Kareena responded, “You’re always living it up, Adi.” You then agreed, “Guess I’m just a laid-back guy.

It’s worth mentioning that the pair, Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur, apparently parted ways recently following almost two years of dating. Whispers of their romantic involvement started swirling around since last year, and they eventually garnered significant interest.

Frequently, they attended the same social gatherings, and on multiple occasions, they were found enjoying vacations together. Additionally, filmmaker Karan Johar subtly suggested aspects of their possible romantic relationship during his talk show, Koffee With Karan.

In a different turn of events, when promoting her movie Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya Panday humorously referred to herself as a “crazy, overly devoted girlfriend” – much like her character portrayed in the film.

In an open conversation with No Filter Neha, when she was asked about the most intense action she took during a romantic involvement, she reminisced about repeatedly calling her partner between 50 and 75 times as he failed to pick up her calls.

In her own words, the star of “Call Me Bae” confessed that if her partner failed to answer a call, she might persistently dial again and again, reaching as many as 75 times on some occasions.

Host Neha Dhupia jokingly advised her not to reveal the name of the partner, and after a brief silence, Ananya acknowledged her habit, explaining that she tends to want immediate resolution in situations and doesn’t like giving people space, admitting it’s not a healthy habit.

Moving forward with his career, Aditya will soon be featured in director Anurag Basu’s upcoming film, Metro In Dino, alongside Sara Ali Khan. Simultaneously, Ananya Panday has several intriguing projects in the pipeline, including the second season of Call Me Bae and a yet-to-be-titled movie sharing screen time with Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
