All3Media CEO Jane Turton on that $1.4B Deal and Why DEI Helps the Bottom Line

As a longtime admirer and follower of the dynamic world of television, I find myself utterly captivated by Jane Turton‘s journey and achievements. Her unparalleled professional triumph this year, the $1.45 billion sale of All3Media to RedBird IMI, stands as a testament to her resilience, expertise, and vision.

In a significant career milestone, the sale of media powerhouse All3Media for $1.45 billion to Jeff Zucker and Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird IMI, which transpired in May 2024, marked the most formidable professional hurdle that Jane Turton had to overcome this year.

The head of All3Media, a worldwide content production titan responsible for over 4,000 hours of programming yearly, including Emmy-winning series like “The Traitors” and Netflix’s “Squid Game: The Challenge,” successfully finalized the largest deal in the company’s history. As a result, All3Media is now integrated into the expanding RedBird IMI conglomerate, which encompasses EverWonder Studios (an unscripted production company), Hidden Pigeon Company (a children’s entertainment group), Front Office Sports (a digital news platform), and a stake in Media Res, the studio behind Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show” and “Pachinko.

As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but highlight the indispensable role my number-crunching abilities have played at All3Media. Particularly during our drive towards increased equity and diversity within our team, my skills have been a significant boost. Notably, I was among The Hollywood Reporter’s 2024 list of Most Powerful Women in International TV, a recognition that underscores the impact we’re making.
